He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Gee (Kuhn); his daughter Kerry Gee; his son-in-law Josh; his daughter Connie Champion (Gee); his grandchildren, Drew, Amber Mears, Joey, Grace Weisensel, Brady, Rikki Brewer, Joseph, Morgan Ballweg and Jude Champion; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Ballweg, Bransen Brewer, Liliana Mears and Arwin Brewer.

HE AND HIS AMAZING DAUGHTER, KERRY MAE AND I WERE FRIENDS FOR MANY YEARS AND SOME OF BEST MEMORIES I HAVE IN CHILDHOOD TO TEENAGE YEARS WERE WITH KERRY AND HER MOM AND DAD, GARY. WHETHER IT WAS SNEAKING OUT ONTO GARAGE ROOF TO SUNBATHE TO RAFTING TRIPS DOWN WOLF RIVER, WHAT AN ADVENTURE THAT WAS!! A WONDERFUL AND FUN FAMILY WHOM NEVER KNEW A STRANGER. I ALWAYS CONSIDERED GARY MY SECOND DAD GARY TO BE GREATLY MISSED AS HE WAS LOVED BY MANY🙏💔💞❤️”
