She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Burton and Hazel Burton; and her husband Marvin Haynes (Bud).

In lieu of flowers memorial funds will be used to dedicate seat memorials in Bud and Betsy's name in the new Pardeeville High School Auditorium.
