He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow and Marion; his sister Marie; his sister-in-law Marty; and his great grandchild Jordyn Mae Thayer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Vicki Marquardt (Randy), Richard Thayer (Kathy), Craig Thayer (Kathy) and Pamela Healey (Wilbur); his grandchildren, Shelly, Steven, Sean, Seth, Joshua, Justin, Jessica, Rebecca, Jacob, Melissa and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Bethany, Levi, Easton, Nolan, Zack, Ava and Jace; his brother Bruce Thayer; and his brother-in-law Sidney Traxler.
