Romain touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Romain may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shuda and Verona Shuda (Kieliszewski); her son Dean; and her sister Beverly. She is survived by: her husband Arthur; her children, Joseph (Edith) of Alaska, Scott Gordon (Keith) of Georgia and Dawn Laflex of Baraboo; her daughter-in-law Gloria Laflex; and her sister Marcene. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
