McGowan (Foat) of New Chester Township; his grandparents, William, Jane "Jennie" Magowan (Connell), Lorenzo and Mary Foat (Hoffman); his siblings, Bernard McGowan, Merlin McGowan, Marlis McLean (Robert), Marcella Erickson (Irvin) and Marie Srb (Frank); his aunts and uncles, William Earl McGowan, Phillip McGowan, Joseph Magaun, Elizabeth "Lillian" Crispo (Michael), Walter Foat (Olga), Floyd Foat (Adeline), Lester Foat (Violet), Leland Foat, Ethel Stevens (Alfred), Rosa Bagley (Asa), Bernda Feuerhammer (Leo), Inez Stafford (Homer) and Phyllis Wilson (Harley); his nephews, Frank Srb, Larry Laing, Keith Russell and Donald McGowan; and his niece Cynthia Baumgartner.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret Laing (John) of Westfield, WI; his friend Lorretta Swinehart of Oxford, WI; his stepchildren, Kenneth Powell of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Michael Powell of South Bend, Indiana and Connie Hammond (Thad) of Rantoul, IL; his nieces and nephews, Carol Simonson of Endeavor, WI, Donna Tucker (Pat) of Oxford, WI, Susan Kopach (David) of Coloma, WI, Jeanne Davis of Sun Prairie, WI, Deb Stevens of Mauston, WI, Julianne McGowan of Madison, WI, Sherrie Bluedorn (Karl) of Lyndon Station, WI, Dean Russell (Bonnie) of Rockford, IL, Mark Srb (Cindy) of Sun Prairie, WI and Joe Srb of Sun Prairie, WI.; and his friends, Rodney and Rachel Reichhoff of Oxford, WI.
