It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward James Coon (Oxford, Wisconsin), born in Adams, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Coon and Hazel Coon (Marshall); his son Edward B. Coon; and his siblings-in-law, Don Goetsch, Jerome Walters, Dennis Walters and Rhoda Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Walters; his children, Terry Coon (Christine), Vickie Mills (Mike), Cindy Kummerow (Ken Kellison), Timothy Coon (Christine), Dean Coon (Sue) and Rhonda Murphy (Michael); his siblings, Marshall Coon (Frances), Patsy Goetsch and Catherine Diechl (Tony); his siblings-in-law, Edmund Walters, Wayne Walters, Ralph Walters (Marilyn) and Jacquelyn; and his daughter-in-law Mary Ann O'Donovan. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. John Lutheran Church or to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
