He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Evans and Lorraine Evans; his parents-in-law, Walter and Audrey Coon; his siblings-in-law, Linda Evans, Larry, Alan and Rick Coon; and his niece Rhonda Reetz.

He is survived by: his wife Gail M. Coon; his daughters, Marci Drew (Kory), Wendi Schueler (Dan) and Traci Meyer (Eric); his brothers, Tom Evans and Dennis Evans (Kay); and his sister-in-law Cherie Coon. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
