He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhardt Boelter and Hattie Boelter (Hardt); his daughter Gail Karstaedt; and his siblings, Verna, Linda and Gordon.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Wilkum; his children, Brian (Cecilia) of Pewaukee, Edward (Monika) of Oxford, Amy Corrao (Joe) of Caledonia and Russell (Michelle) of Oxford; and his son-in-law Kyle Karstaedt. He is also survived by many grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that will be established in Don's name.
