He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin DeCaire and Aloween DeCaire (Belhumeur); his wife Carol Steffes; his grandchildren, Morgan, Gage Gerard, Dylan DeCaire, Adam and Aaron DeCaire; and his sisters, Phyllis Durocher, Joan Fisher and Patricia Matonavich.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Kaczmarek (Robert) of Wind Lake, Robert DeCaire, Jr. (Amy) of Medford and Rodney DeCaire (Kathy) of Owen; his grandchildren, Nicholas Gerard (Tammie), Christopher Gerard (Anna), Amber Morris (Ryan), Kyle Kaczmarek, Megan Kaczmarek (Paul Luce), Brandon DeCaire, Karisa Vu (Andrew), Joel DeCaire (MacKenzie), Amanda Denk (Ben) and Stephanie Zahradka (Shane); and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Tyler, Nolan, Hunter, Parker Gerard, Connor, Ashton, Vittoria Morris, Rylan, Alayna, Theodore Vu and Aubrianna Denk. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorials to Hope Hospice or Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
