Mary A. Luchterhand Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2021, at the age of 99, Mary A. Luchterhand (Owen, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barrett and Lola Barrett; her husband Emil; and her siblings, Rolland, Jim, Bryce, Ivis Whitbeck, Opal Peissig Gustafson, Juanita Pedersen and Barbara Acker.
She is survived by: her sister Beatrice Hansen; and her children, Kubet, Bryce (Maxine), Kathrene Beasley (John) and Debara Kuhlmann. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren.
More recently, she was astounded by the number of people purposely ignoring or denying factual information during the pandemic and wrote an editorial declaring those individuals are part of the problem.
The family requests donations can be made to Mary's favorite charity, Doctors Without Borders, in lieu of flowers.
