He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Volk and Helen L. Volk (Finch); and his siblings, William, Thomas Volk, Sandra Volk and Henrietta Volk.
He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Matthews (Don) of Republic, WA, Patty Minx of Asheville, NC, Mary Wheeler (Alan) of Winona, MN and Sue Wooden (David) of La Crescent, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
