He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Marshall and Varina Marshall (Wentworth); his wife Norma Jean; his siblings, Vernon Marshall, Jane Wrage and Aggie Leon; and his son Mark Kolthoff.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Michaelson and Darrell Kolthoff (Nancy); his son-in-law Bill Michaelson; his grandchildren, Darrell Jr., Tracy, Mark Jr., David, Sheila, Missy, Paige and Dillon; and his sister-in-law Colleen Marshall (Harry Libby). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
