He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Starks and Iola Starks (Gemmeke); his granddaughter Courtney Starks; his great grandchild Bailey Bower; his sister Velma Kiraly (Kenneth); his siblings-in-law, Eugene Budzinski and Mary Ellen Rice; and his son-in-law Eric Hamm.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Waneitta Dietzman; his children, Jackie Bower (Dave) of Owen, Candace Andrews (Conrad) of Baraboo, Kristin Hamm (Adam Penk) of Greenwood and George Starks, Jr. of Thorp; his grandchildren, Luke Bower, Ben Hubbard (Julia), Carmella Fredrick (Dylan), Cody Hubbard (Sam), Devon Hubbard (Eugene Quade), Ivan Hubbard (Katie Jo), Katie Bower, Cassie Marthaler, Ashlee Hamm, Karsyn Penk, Sean Richardson, Andy Andrews and Kelly Andrews; his great grandchildren, Taylor Bower, Sawyer Hubbard, Alanna Hubbard-Fredrick, Dean Fredrick, Lola Fredrick, Dax Fredrick, Abraham Hubbard, James Trunkel and Leroy Quade; his sisters, Vera Budzinski of Thorp, Ruby Jaecks (Bruce) of Wausau and Ruth Sommers (John) of Stevens Point; and his sister-in-law Marian Poppe of Thorp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
