She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Thomley and Minnie Thomley (Hanson); her husband Bernard Colby; and her brother Maynard. She is survived by: her children, Arlyn Colby (Marjorie) of Barron and Anita Larson (Gary) of La Crescent, Minnesota; and her sister Louise Johnson of Mankato, Minnesota. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and precautions, the family has chosen a private service for Elaine.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred and should be directed to Chimney Rock Lutheran Church in Elaine's name.
