He is survived by: his children, Kim Pietrzak (Tom), Laurel of Big Lake, MN and Jason Steen (Jennifer) of Lake Holcombe, WI; his grandchild Tess Engel (David); his great grandchild Annabelle; his grandchild Shania Steen (Dan Miscov); his son Troy Steen of Osseo, WI; and his sisters, Charolette Stamm of Mondovi, WI, Nancy Anderegg of Holmen, WI and Karen O'llaussen (Bjorn) of Marquette, MI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
