He is survived by: his wife Sue Buehring; his children, Amy Wheeler (Michael), Kristi Williams and Paul Buehring; his grandchildren, Lily, Ella, Owen, Chloe and Aiden; his mother-in-law Janet Palecek; and his friends, Bucky, Russ and Tom.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his honor.
