He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Gorchels and Elvina Gorchels (Osmos); and his son Michael J. Gorchels. He is survived by: his wife Joan N. Marheine; and his sons, Charles Gorchels (Linda) of Fitchburg, WI, Gerald Gorchels (Lisa) of DeKalb, IL and Richard Gorchels (June) of Weyauwega, WI. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
