He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Brantmeier and Elaine Brantmeier (Ackerman); and his sisters, Patti Helein and Dee Dee Kolakowski. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie; his sons, Chad Brantmeier (Cintia) and Jeremy Brantmeier; his grandson Samuel Brantmeier; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Damask, Rita Boettcher (Bob), Vic Young (Karen) and Jim Young (Donna). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his honor.
