He is survived by: his significant other Maribeth Monday; his children, Randy Nigl, Roxanne Gajewski (Steve), Rusty Nigl (Medy), Sara Scherzer (Lorenz), Matthew Nigl (Tania), Kim Langhoff (Rod), Stacy Paulus (Steve), Kathy Berens, Bekkei Hibbard (Greg), Mitzi Rogers and Andy Rogers (Jenny); his grandchildren, Diane Gajewski, Heather Crots (Tony), Christina Badger (Kenji), Cherie Nigl, Hannah Schimke (Austin), Peyton Nigl, Lauren Ruth Nigl, Tashina Bolen (Matt), Emilio Hernandez (Caylie), Kaitlin Scherzer, Dietrich Scherzer, Arika Scherzer, Lorenz Scherzer IV, Hans Scherzer, Maxwell Rogers, Alexia Berens, Stephanie Genz (Jim), Michael Langhoff, Kyle Paulus and Calvin Paulus; and his great grandchildren, Jailynn, Makayla, Madison, Aubrey, Parker, Carter, Deklyn and Wrenlie. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
