He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Summerville, Sr. and Lillian Summerville Bailey (Browell); his siblings, Robert Summerville and Dixie Summerville; and his granddaughter Shannon Marie Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Verna; and his children, Mark Summerville (Michelle), Laura Holevatz and Elizabeth Schmude (James). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be given in Marvin's memory to the organizations within the community which he valued.
