It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha A Asuma (Oshkosh, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Saarinen and Tekla Saarinen; and her husband Rev. Thomas Asuma. She is survived by: her children, Timothy (Kelly), Mary Dykstra (Russell) of Oshkosh, Thomas (Raija) of Manitowoc and Mark (Laury) of Sherrills Ford, NC; her brother-in-law William Asuma Kailua; her grandchildren, Tommy Asuma (Lauren), Erik Asuma (Reme), Jonas Asuma (Rhysa), Matti Asuma (Torrey L.), Leena Kirt (Jeff), Marya H. Hauer (Lane), Mindie Boynton (Ryan), Chadd Asuma, Haley O'Connor (Colin), Matthew Asuma and Lauren Asuma; and her great grandchildren, Nolen Boynton, Roen Boynton, Tommi Asuma, Mathias Asuma, Theo Asuma, Owen Asuma, Mikko Asuma and Aila Kirt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
