It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Garland Burg (Oshkosh, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Burg and Garland Burg; his niece Hannah Janay Lorenz; and his great-nephews, Sullivan Danger Sherron and Ezio Hezekiah Hartl.

He is survived by: his son Scott Garland Burg; his grandsons, Jonathan Nichols, James Burg, Jacob Burg, Zachary Burg and Alex Burg; his siblings, Faye Sherron (James), Paul Charles Burg (Debbie), Michael Harry Schuppe (Beth), Patricia Loehning (Lon) and John Jeffrey Scott Schuppe; and his former spouse Fausta Karl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was instrumental in organizing the association many years ago and encouraged me to join shortly thereafter and doubt if he hardly missed a meeting.
