He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Meid and Florence Meid; his brothers, Richard "Dick" Meid and Tom Meid; and his parents-in-law, Joseph "Joe" and Alma Lechner.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Meid of Peter's Catholic Church; his sons, Mike Meid (Laura Jahnke) and Dan Meid (Vickie); his sister Darleen Schulte (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Lyn Meid, Sue Meid, Betty Joss (John), Joe Lechner (Karen) and Tom Lechner (Maureen).
