He was predeceased by: his father Michael Meton; his wife Barb; and his siblings, Leonard Meton, Elmyra Lorvig (Clarence), Victoria Fritz and Lawrence "Bud" Meton.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Giffey (Roger), Connie Shaefer (Jimmy Ruby), Lisa Houge (Jeff), Mark Meton (Patty), Dawn Meton and Gail Schaefers (Mark); and his grandchildren, Ryan Giffey (DeeAnn Drexler), Kurt Giffey (Abi), Hilary Gelhar (Christopher), Rachel Shaefer, Jason Houge (Andrea), Kristen Houge (Tim Knuth), Scott Houge (Amanda), Samantha Houge, Tyler Anklam (Kayla), Lisa Anklam, Michael Meton, Ashley Rhyner (Dave), Bradley Potratz, Emily Schaefers (Brett Aston) and Benjamin Schaefers. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
