He is survived by: his wife Linda Nitz; his children, Julianna Nitz, Caroline Nitz (Kyle Thorpe) and Callie Nitz (Marc Smith); his siblings, Judy Anderson and Jeff Nitz; and his in-laws, Pat Nitz, LaVonne Burow (Mark Vanderlin), Lyle Hangartner (Jenny) and LuAnn Karst (Mickey). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
