He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stowe and Beatrice Stowe (Hewitt); his wife Gail McNeil (David); his siblings, Edward Stowe (Ruby), Thomas Stowe (Hope), Robert Stowe (Ruth), Jim Stowe (Edith), Richard Stowe (Judith), John Stowe (Judy), Enid Keller (Ervin) and Mary Lou Decker (Charles); and his brother-in-law George Cuske.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Stowe (Diane), Barbara Reese (JR) and William Stowe; and his siblings, Willard Stowe (Sandy), Larry Stowe (Arlene) and Lynn Cuske. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
