He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Coates; his siblings, Mitchell Coates (Heidi Witty), Dawn Coates (Tim Teske) and Darren Coates; his children, Scott Coates (Colleen Riordan), Kacie Fell (Jeremy), Jesse Coates, David Coates, Sunshine Coates and Sophia Coates; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Coates, Keyan, Karsen and Charlie Fell; his mother-in-law Betty Paulick; and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Paulick (Susan), Teri Colletti (Mark) and Lisa Salzsieder (Jonathon).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers; gifts may be sent to Covey (formerly, United Cerebral Palsy) of OshKosh; or gifts will be used to establish a tree memorial.
