He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wahlberg and Judith Wahlberg (Sass); his grandparents, Carl, Mildred Wahlberg, Harry and Evelyn Sass; and his stepgrandson Landon Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Wahlberg of Omro; his stepchildren, Michael Nelson (Jaime) of Berlin, Glen Nelson (Alesha Neitzke) of Oshkosh and Tera Nelson (Tim Lang) of Winneconne; his siblings, Mark Wahlberg (Denise) of Oshkosh, Gail Wright (David) of Oshkosh, Kirsten Hebert (Ron) of Oshkosh, Teresa Wahlberg of Oshkosh, Karin Boone (Michael) of Oshkosh and Michael Wahlberg of Oshkosh; and his grandchildren, Josslyn, Hailey Nelson, Rylee, Sydnee, Kinslee Nelson and MaKenzi Zweiger. He is also survived by nephews nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven Dr, Oshkosh, WI 54904). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
