Betty J. Kromm Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Kromm of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Nelson and Emma Nelson (Elmond Kromm); her son James Kromm; her siblings, Francis, Eugene and Otto Nelson; and her sisters-in-law, Theresa Nelson, Marie Nelson and Germaine Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Kromm (Darla) of Burlington, WI and Diane Kromm (Rick Vosburgh) of Durham, NC; her daughter-in-law Sue Kromm of Appleton, WI; her grandchildren, Robin Nimmer (Nuri) of Moscow, ID, Julie Kromm (Nate Lahm) of Kaukauna, WI, Erin Novak (Jason) of Springdale, AR and Matthew Kromm (Kassie Berg) of Kansasville, WI; her great grandchildren, Noah, Isaac Nimmer, Beckett, Easton Lahm, Logan Cain, Ian Novak, Jacob, Lennox Kromm and Kadin Villa; and her close friend Heidi Harstad. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church (1860 Wisconsin St, Oshkosh, WI 54901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Prairie Cemetery (6571 WI-44, Pickett, WI 54964).
Any memorials may be given to Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
