He was predeceased by: his parents, Benito and Barbara; his grandparents, James Lucille, Martha Lucille and Aunt Lucille; his brothers, Sherman and Michael; his niece Alana; and his nephews, John and Kevin.

He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Alvarado, Cory Alvarado and Bryce Alvarado; his grandchildren, Gavyn Alvarado and Jaedah Alvarado; and his brothers, Harold Grant and Randolf "Randy" Alvarado. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
