She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Gruse (Steinfort) and Roman Gruse; her husband Bud of Oshkosh; and her daughter Barbara Ann Carrick. She is survived by: her children, Michael Carrick (Melody) of Oshkosh, Patrick Carrick (Jill) of Alexandria, Virgina, Sally Nordstrom (Bill) of Pewaukee, Colleen Carrick and John Carrick (Jana) of Cedarburg, Wisconsin.; and her grandchildren, Bryan Carrick, Barbara Carrick, David Carrick, Lynsie Bernier (Brandt), Connor Carrick, Jennifer Ambrose (Nathan), Sarah Burke (Ryan), Anna Sikora (Micah), Deidre Hercegovac (Igor), Caitlin Werly (Jordan), Sarah McDonald, Kyle Carrick, Kevin Carrick (Brianna) and Abigail Simonson (Jarrett). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made out to the Children's Leukemia Research Association in honor of their daughter, Barbara Ann Carrick.
