He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Martin and Emma Martin; his former wife Sue; and his brothers, David and Vernon.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Rose Weddig; his children, Greg Martin (Lauri), Kristine Fredrick (Steve "Buck"), Douglas Martin (Lina), Dennis Martin, Steven Martin (Ann) and Jeffrey Martin (Kristen Krasny); his sisters, Joanne Weddig (Tom), Kay Frank (Roger), Susan Bruesch (Ted) and Jacquie Hall (Dennis); and his in-laws, Elmyra Martin, Lee Weddig (June), Judy Webster, Mary Weddig and Edward Weddig (Jeanne). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 9:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (St. Jude the Apostle Parish) (519 Knapp St, Oshkosh, WI 54902). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
