She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Alfred Knutson and Hazel Knutson (Klonglan); her sister Esther Knutson (Barnum); and her husband Stanley Christenson (Stan). She is survived by: her children, Mayme Hofland (Ronald) of Fergus Falls, MN, Anthony Christenson (Darla) of Lisbon, ND, Allean Christenson of Osceola, WI, Eric Christenson (Andrea) of Plymouth, MN and Nicole Christenson of Plymouth, MN; and her brother Robert Knutson of McVille, ND. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Amery Free Lutheran Church (647 113th St, Amery, WI 54001). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stiklestad Lutheran Church.
