He is survived by: his wife Janet Hetfeld; his sister Sheila Running (Jack); his stepchildren, Joshua Hetfeld (Jennifer), Megan Snegosky (Adam) and Nick Hetfeld (Christy); and his grandchildren, Sydney, Remi, Brooke, Lauren, Avery, Nolan, Courtney, Parker, Audrey, Claire, Noelle and Lucy.
