She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Nelson and Frances Nelson (Lundgren); her husband Richard Thompson; her brother Greg Nelson (Ann); and her brothers-in-law, Noland Thompson, Dick Anderson, Tom Murphy and Harry Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, Brian Thompson and Diana Connelly (Dan); her grandchildren, Patrick Connelly, Tosha Moran (Brandon), Ben Thompson and Bradley Thompson; her sisters, Beth Murphy (Sharon), Gloria Nelson and Susan Nelson; her brother-in-law Allen Thompson (Judy); her aunt Mary Thompson; her cousin Ruthie Yira; her caregivers, Angel, Sophie and Amanda; and also Lori Peper. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
