He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley; his parents, Richard and Jeanette; and his siblings, Virgil, Dale, Richard, Jr., Warren "Chuck", Stephen and Sally Campeau.
He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Earl, Jr. (Jessica) and Elizabeth Bengtson (Chad); his stepdaughters, Rachael Tanberg and Christine Mammenga; and his grandchildren, Ginna Mammenga, Neveah Bengtson, Katherine Tanberg, Christopher Mammenga, Triton Bengtson, Finneus Plattner, Kinley Plattner and Ellamay Campbell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other family and friends.
