She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Keehn and Helen Keehn (Letts); her husband Earl E. Kersten; and her brothers, Roger and Robert Keehn.

She is survived by: her children, Steve A (Mary) of Evansville and Kay Flippin (Bob) of Janesville; her grandchildren, Seth Kersten (Kera), Lyndsey Elmer (Joe) and Callista Kersten; and her great grandchild Addie Kersten. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
