With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Sommerfeldt (Orfordville, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sommerfeldt and Nellie Sommerfeldt (Dammen); his daughter Janelle Bevars; his brothers, Sheldon (Donna) and Virgil Sommerfeldt (Nancy); his sister-in-law Judy; his nephew Craig Sommerfeldt; and his close friend Mary Phillips.
He is survived by: his son Randy (Laurie); his grandchildren, Aaron Bevars (Kaitlin), Bradley Bevars (Candace) and Braydon Sommerfeldt; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Hayden, Colton, Adelyn and Elizabeth Bevars; his siblings, Jerry Sommerfeldt and Jan Weisse (Harley); and his son-in-law Bruce (Mary).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Orfordville Lutheran Cemetery (4028 WI-213, Orfordville, WI 53576). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Orfordville Lutheran Church.
