He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gonia and Laura Gonia; and his siblings, Ervin, Joseph, Harry, Elmer, Edward Jr., Jack, Lorraine Socolick and Bernice Holcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughter Melody Wolske (Rich); his granddaughters, Victoria and Gabriella; his sisters, Delores Smez and Henrita Gonia; and his siblings-in-law, John, Lola Gonia, Helen Gonia and Janet Woger (Karl). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
