He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kelley and Berniece Kelley; and his brother Gary Kelley. He is survived by: his friend Stephen Kelley; his wife Marlene; his children, Kristine Minor (Mike) and Jason Kelley (Sue); his grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew Minor, Conner, Taran and Aden Kelley; and his brother-in-law Richard Buesing (Jan). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the National Museum of US Forest Service History.
