She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cloyd Mustain and Bonnie Mustain; her former husband Christopher H. Brooks; her children, Chris and Consolation; her brother Bill Mustain; her daughter Jessica Reed; her children-in-law, Dave Reed and Holly Severson; her grandson Cassidy; her husband Chris; and her brother Steve. She was also cherished by many cousins, step-cousins, family members, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NAMI of Dane County in her honor.
