He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bahr and Frances Bahr (Jirovec); his wife Alice Bahr (Rynes); his brothers, Jack and Donald Bahr; and his daughter Linda Bahr.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Jessica Le; and his children, Robert Bahr (Cynthia) and Lori O'Malley (Marshall Ankrom). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
