He was predeceased by: his father Robert A. Velte; his father-in-law Merrill Landis; and his pet Gidget. He is survived by: his mother Rona Velte (Whitney); his wife Christina Landis; his sons, Nicholas and Alexander; his pet Yeri; his brother Timothy Velte (Jennifer); his nieces and nephews, Parker, Nick and Emma; his brother David Velte (Tracy); his mother-in-law Linda Landis; his sister-in-law Mary Jane Landis (Andrew Potchik); his niece Sarah Morris (Justin); his brothers-in-law, Mark Landis and Stu Landis (Toni); and also, Piper and Cameron Landis. He is also survived by three sons.

Due to COVID 19 guidelines at this time, only 35 people are allowed into the funeral home at one time. Social distancing and face masks are required.
