She was predeceased by: her parent Domonic Albert (Agatha Matchey Marsolek); her daughter Jean Backes; her husband Robert J. Cuta; her siblings, Marcel "Zeke", Edward Marsolek Sr. and Norma Jean Johnson (James II); and her father Tom Kelley.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Kathy), Mary McNulty (Michael), John (Brenda) and Paul (Kelly); her son-in-law Joe Backes; and her siblings-in-law, Alberta Gund and Paul Cuta (Donna). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Maxine's name to St. Dennis Catholic School, Madison or Holy Mother of Consolation Catholic Church, Oregon.
