He was predeceased by: his parents, John Callahan and Margaret Callahan (Parkinson); his brothers, Jack and Dee Callahan; and his brother-in-law Bill Thompson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Patti Schwenn (Craig), Judy Thompson, Kathy Callahan and Bill Callahan (Diana); his sisters-in-law, Sue Callahan and Sandie Callahan; his aunt Mary Faith Parkinson; and his nephews, Monte Callahan and Chad Schwenn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Larry's name to the March of Dimes or Feed the Children.
