She is survived by: her husband Rex Blum; her children, Dave Blum (Patty) and Sena Nyhus (Kent); her granddaughters, Kara Nyhus, Carly Nyhus, Dagen Blum and Lauren Blum; and her sisters, Kathleen Polich (Jerry) and Angie Jorgensen (Jerry).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Karen's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
