He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Ben" Vondra and Hilda Vondra (Reuter); his grandchildren, Justin and Ashley Vondra; his siblings, Burnetta Nies, Darlene Loeffeholz, Rita Taylor, Donald, Kenneth, Eldon, David and Bernard; and his sister-in-law Karen Steinlage.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Vondra (Roth); his son Jeffrey Vondra (Brenda); his granddaughter Makayla Vondra; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Vondra, Phyllis Berns, LaVonne Paustin and Donna Olson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Joseph's name to Oregon Senior Center.
