He was predeceased by: his parents, George Staniforth and Mary Johnson; his daughter Jill Staniforth; his siblings, Lawrence Staniforth (Pat), Morris Staniforth (Ellen), Alice Daly (Bud), Jane Antoine (Bob) and Thomas Staniforth; and his nephew Greg Staniforth.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Staniforth (Getter) of Paul's Catholic Chapel; and his son Michael Staniforth (Stacey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
