It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Claude Nettesheim of Oregon, Wisconsin, born in Brookfield, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Nettesheim and Florence Nettesheim (Heger); his parents-in-law, Roy and Clarice Christensen; and his siblings, Eddie, Eileen (Jack) and Clarice (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Nettesheim (Christensen); his children, Sara Gragg (Jameey) and Matthew Nettesheim (Bridget); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Gragg, Lauren Gragg, Kitt Nettesheim and Colin Nettesheim; his siblings, Fran (Bob), Kathy (Steve), Claudia (Duane) and Kilian (Ila); his siblings-in-law, Mary, Roger Christensen (Barbara) and Arlen Christensen (Gloria); and his close friends, Tom and Mary Ann Reid. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Oregon, Badger Honor Flight, or Habitat for Humanity.
