He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Hare; his son Steve; his wife Bea; and his siblings, John, Ruth Neva and Joy.
He is survived by: his children, Chrisanne Oney (Jeff) of Owatonna, Jim (Sandy) of North Mankato and Laurie Button (Roger) of Washougal, WA.; and his stepchildren, Gary Freeburg, Tom Freeburg (Kathryn), Keith Freeburg (Joann), Laurie Henderson (Kerry) and Ann Holder (Todd). He is also survived by 9 children, spouses, 20 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren.
He met Helen Hare at the Wesley Foundation and they married in 1951.
